GNWT letters to: Inuvialuit Regional Corporation, Gwich’in Tribal Council, North Slave Métis Alliance, Nahanni Butte Dene Band, and First Nation of Na-Cho Nyäk Dun.
Letters are to invite participation in the environmental assessment process for the Project; Initiate formal Consultation; advise that the GNWT is relying, to the extent possible, on the Review Board's process to assist in fulfilling the GNWT duty to consult, and if appropriate, accommodate; And to identify the main contact person
In addition, there are joint consultation letters with the Government of Canada (GC) describing the coordinated consultation process for this EA.
