A letter of concern to the Review Board from the Carter family who live in Nanacho Lake and are directly impacted by the Taltson Hydro Expansion Project. The letter was sent by their legal representative on December 10, 2009.
Information Request Submissions

The Treaty 8 Tribal Council will not be submitting any information requests, but will be participating in upcoming community meetings and the public hearing.
Both the Lutselk'e Dene First Nation and the Treaty 8 Tribal Council had requested extensions to the IR submission deadline. The Review Board has decided to grant this extension to August 15, 2009. If the Review Board subsequently decides to issue the proposed IRs from these two organization they may be issued as supplementary to the first round of IRs.

The Review Board has granted an extension to all parties to the environmental assessment of Deze Energy's proposed Taltson Hydroelectric Expansion project for the submission of Information Requests. The new due date for submission is July 15, 2009 at 5:00 pm.
Additionally, the Review Board is granting party status to the NSMA and NRCan.
Several parties have requested an extension to the June 11, 2009 deadline for IR submissions.
This letter contains important information on next steps in the EA process and several upcoming dates and deadlines for both information request submissions and for planned technical sessions. Also, the letter explains recent changes made to the workplan of the Taltson Hydroelectric Expansion EA.
