Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation Agreements
Our coordination with other co-management boards and environmental assessment bodies in adjacent jurisdictions is built on a foundation of Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs), Coordination Frameworks, and project-specific cooperation plans.
- MOUs set out high-level principles for cooperation, coordination, and collaboration. They also provide the basis for developing coordination frameworks and project-specific plans.
- Coordination Frameworks offer a flexible “menu of options” for how the Review Board and our partners can work together effectively across different contexts.
- Project-specific cooperation plans are developed case by case. These plans outline how we will collaborate on individual projects or assessments, tailored to the unique needs of each process and mindful of our respective roles and responsibilities.
Together, these tools ensure our approach remains adaptable, inclusive, and responsive to the complexity of environmental assessments.
