Imperial Oil N.W.T. Limited is requesting that the closure and reclamation of the Norman Wells Operations be referred to environmental assessment. Imperial is requesting that the Review Board use its authority under section 126(3) of the Mackenzie Valley Resource Management Act to initiate the environmental assessment on its own motion.
