This document is an addendum to Imperial's 2016 Interim Closure and Reclamation Plan. This document describes updates to the ICRP from January 2017 to March 2022. 

This is Imperial's Interim Closure and Reclamation Plan (ICRP) for the Norman Wells Operations. This document is an interim plan that is a requirement of the Norman Wells Operations water licence issued by the Sahtu Land and Water Board. Imperial proposes to use this ICRP to serve as a draft “Proposal for Development”. The ICRP can be used to inform and further develop a final Closure and Reclamation Plan.

Imperial requested that the Board exercise its discretionary authority under subsection 126 (3) to initiate an EA for the closure of its Norman Wells Operations.
