Letter from Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board responding to Paramount Transmission Ltd. Noise Survey. The NEB is satisfied with the results, Paramountƒ_Ts submission is in compliance with condition 12 of NEBƒ_Ts Order EPO-01-2002
The MVLWB approved the Noise Survey as submitted in accordance with Condition #78 of the Land Use Permit.
The Plan was created as under the Terms of Conditions of the approved Class "A" Land Use Permit.
The comments of their clients Ka'a'Gee Tu First Nation include concerns that the noise survey was based on tests taken during the weekend and the companies decision to not include noise made from helicopters and ATV's.
The Department of Indian and Northern Affairs assures Mandell Pinder that they looked into the possible winter access gate violation by Paramount. An Inspector was sent to the site and assures that there is in fact a gate which is well monitored.
